Paul Wagner was the founding pastor of Believers Chapel. For a long time, Paul Wagner and Believers Chapel were the cutting edge of evangelical Christianity in CNY. One of the things I have admired about that church the most has been their commitment to church planting, establishing: Believers' Chapel Mexico, Believers' Chapel Canastota, and Believers' Chapel Fulton. Paul used to lead a Tuesday evening Bible study that was 8 weeks long that covered the basics of the Christian faith and it ran continuously. It really helped establish me in my Christian faith. Paul and his ministry at the Chapel led hundreds, if not, thousands of people to Christ and raised up a host of Christian leaders. Thank you God for the life of Paul Wagner. Peace to his memory.
