Losing faith is a good thing. It is not something one should seek to reclaim. I refer you to Dan Barker's critically acclaimed book, "Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist."

Of course you know, Atheism is a faith committment too. It takes a certain level of belief to come to the conclusion there is no God, as there is no "hardcore evidence" per se.
Certainly, one could argue for the preponderance of evidence but there is no smoking gun. Faith is clearly a part of Atheism and all of life regardless of one's creedal adherence.
Keith Drury of course was referring to recovering one's 'Christian' faith.
