Mormons and Evangelicals in Conversation

This article gives a little history and some of the extraordinary results of these interactions.  One interesting event was the permission granted by Mormon leaders to a large group of evangelical churches to use a Mormon Temple for an evangelistic event with Nick Vujicic of Life Without Limbs. It was interesting to read that Mormon leaders are not trained in academic theology -- very few Ph.D.'s.  Whereas most of the evangelical leaders we know of have at least an M.Div. or M.A and a Ph.D., Th.D. or a D.Min.
