St. B is an Evangelical Covenant Church that defected from the Episcopal Church. There are not a lot of positions in the Covenant Church that focus on evangelism. If you look at the Churches Seeking Staff web site, most of the staff positions are looking for youth or worship pastors. Kudos to St. Barnabas for thinking outside the box. Speaking of churches seeking staff, I've been contacted twice in the past week by churches looking for a senior pastor. Another friend of mine has been contacted about 5x in the past couple months. For both of us it's been a couple years since we've been contacted by anyone. Interesting phenomena.
