I Got Sweet Skills

Someone called me about a job I didn't want recently. They were asking me about my skills. Let's see ... I've done adoption casework, graphic design, pastoral ministry: solo & associate, youth ministry, children's evangelism, evangelistic preaching, multimedia creation, all aspects of public relations and marketing, volunteer management, leadership development, fund raising and donor development, budget creation and management, large & small event planning, curriculum development, church health & growth consulting, retreat and seminar planning and leading, taught college classes, and if that's not enough, I can set-up sound equipment, stock shelves in a grocery store, and rake sand traps on a golf course. I got skills. And according to the Scriptures I have spiritual gifts too. As I wrote all that down and looked at my resume once again I observed that is an extraordinarily eclectic group of skills. I must be good for something though we're still wondering what that might be.
